The Cotswold region is the center of the universe for incredible gardens. We’ll visit historic estates, private gardens open for charity, and attend an RHS garden show at the Badminton Estate.

Join Seattle’s beloved radio and TV personality, Ciscoe Morris, on a 10-day exploration through the stunning gardens, historic and cultural sites of England’s most incredible scenic landscapes. We’ll visit many of England’s National Trust homes and gardens, private home gardens that open for charity, historic sites like Stonehenge, the Roman Baths in Bath, Highclere Castle (Downton Abbey), picturesque villages that dot the landscape in Wiltshire, and attend the Royal Horticultural Society’s Garden Festival at the Badminton Estate.

Tuesday, July 7th, 2026
Depart the USA for London’s Heathrow Airport. Morning arrivals (prior to noon), will be met and transported by motor coach to Cheltenham, our Cotswolds base for the first three nights of this tour.
Wednesday, July 8th, 2026
Arrive London prior to Noon. You’ll be met and board our coach transportation to Cheltenham, our tour base for our first three nights in England. We’ll have free time in the afternoon to look over the town prior to our welcome dinner near the hotel this evening. Overnight Cheltenham (D)
Thursday, July 9th, 2026
Start the day with a morning tour of Kiftsgate Court Garden. Time to explore the town of Broadway before afternoon tea at the Lygon Arms Hotel. In the afternoon, we will enjoy a tour of Snowshill Garden. Overnight Cheltenham (BTD)
Friday, July 10th, 2026
Am morning visit to Sudeley Castle Gardens. A stop at picturesque Stow-on-the-Wold for lunch on your own. In the afternoon, we have two NGS gardens to visit. The first is Daylesford Organic Garden. The second chosen will be chosen depending on their schedule. Overnight Cheltenham (B)
Saturday, July 11th, 2026
We travel to Bath today and our first stop is Highgrove*, the private garden of King Charles and Queen Camilla. We have the afternoon scheduled at the Badminton Estate, which is hosting a large RHS garden festival ordinarily located at Hampton Court. You’ll have lunch there on your own, then enjoy the remainder of the afternoon viewing the display gardens. We’ll arrive at our centrally located Bath hotel in the late afternoon. Overnight Bath (BD)
Sunday, July 12th, 2026
We’ve got a morning walking tour scheduled of the historic town of Bath and Roman baths this morning. In the afternoon we’ll visit the Iford Manor Estate for a tour of their gardens. Dinner is near the hotel this evening. Overnight Bath (BD)
Monday, July 13th, 2026
We journey to the cathedral town of Wells for a tour of the Cathedral and Bishop’s Palace Gardens. Time on your own to enjoy lunch, then a visit to a private garden on our way back to Bath. Dinner is on your own this evening. After dinner we’ll attend a performance (schedule TBA) at the Theatre Royal. Overnight Bath (B)
Tuesday, July 14th, 2026
Lacock Abbey Gardens is our first visit this morning. You’ll have time on your own in the charming market town of Devizes for lunch, sightseeing, and shopping. An afternoon tour of the gardens at The Heale Garden and Plant Center before arriving in Andover. Overnight Andover (BD)
Wednesday, July 15th, 2026
We’ll get visit the megalithic site of Stonehenge first thing this morning. We’ll break for lunch in the city of Salisbury. On the way back to our Andover hotel, we’ll make a final stop for a tour at Longstock Water Gardens. Overnight Andover (B)
Thursday, July 16th, 2026
Our last day takes us to Highclere Castle*, the site location for the filming of Downton Abbey. We’ll tour the main house with time to see the Egyptian Exhibition there while exploring the connection with the estate and Tut’s tomb discovery. Stroll the grounds on your own afterward. Finally, we’re off to the Bombay Sapphire Gin Distillery for a tour and tasting of their gins. You’ll have time to get a bite of lunch in the café before our tour begins. We’ll have our farewell dinner tonight near the hotel. Overnight Andover (BD)
Friday, July 17th, 2026
We’re on our way back to Heathrow shortly after breakfast. Guests should schedule their return flights no earlier than 1:00 PM. Heathrow Express is a convenient train service from Heathrow to Paddington Station in Central London for anyone wishing to extend their stay in the capital city. (B)
*Highgrove Gardens and Highclere Castle open to the public on certain dates. If it’s not possible to visit on the dates indicated, a suitable substitute will be made.
Flights from Seattle, including any seat fees, should run under $1400. Keep tabs on google flights for seat sales. You want to arrive in London/Heathrow on July 8th before noon and depart from London/Heathrow after 1:00 PM on July 17th.
Pricing is $6600 per person, based on double or twin occupancy. The single supplement is $1400. You can save $270 per person by paying by check in lieu of credit card. The initial deposit is $2000 per person to confirm your space on the tour. Balance is due February 1st, 2026.
